Nurses and midwives in Scotland have access to the NES Turas Professional Portfolio to evidence their learning for their professional development. Allied Health Professionals will have access to a NES Turas Professional Portfolio in mid 2019.

I'm an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, how can Turas Portfolio support me?
The structured forms in TURAS Portfolio are designed to help you identify, plan and evidence your learning and development. 
The evidence can be used for many purposes including supervision, appraisal and NMC revalidation
Use the:

Professional Journey Plan template to identify, plan and evidence your learning.

Record of Learning to record a range of CPD activity e.g. modules, eLearning, Mandatory/Statutory learning.

Reflective forms to guide and record your reflections from interactions with patients, feedback from peers/supervisor and help you to demonstrate your learning in practice.

Case Based Discussion to write up any cases you have discussed with your supervisor and others.

Mini-CEX Feedback to record observed Clinical Examination assessments.• Direct Observation of Procedural Skill (DOPS) to confirm proficiency of a new procedural skill.

Generic Feedback to request specific and tailored feedback from others.• Upload section store documents to include as evidence, e.g. certificates, articles, competency documents.• Share Pack to share your evidence items with others via a web link.
